The Italian fashion house Roberto Cavalli SpA relies on a new business model for its second line Just Cavalli. The label, which is aimed at a young target group, will be “developed” together with the Verona-based textile group Swinger International, the company announced on Tuesday.
As part of the multi-year partnership, Swinger International will take over the production of Just Cavalli’s ready-to-wear collections, leather goods, accessories and shoes for men and women. The two companies share distribution: Cavalli continues to operate the retail network and the online store of the brand itself, while Swinger International takes over the wholesale business.
The two partners already want to work together on the collection for the spring/summer 2023 season. It will be designed by the Cavalli team and developed by Swinger International, according to a statement.
With the new model, the fashion house wants to realize its “great ambitions” for Just Cavalli. “Our goal is to expand our presence on the global markets with a complete and rich offer,” explained Ennio Fontana, General Manager of Roberto Cavalli. The aim is to increase Just Cavalli’s annual sales to 80 million euros over the next four years.
The targeted growth of the line is to start in already established markets such as Europe, the Middle East and the USA. “In a second phase, great attention will be paid to the Asian market,” the company said.
