Viola Holt thinks that Robert ten Brink would do well not to make any more trips outside of All You Need Is Love and VriendenLoterij Miljonairs. She thinks he should stick to his last.
In recent weeks, Robert ten Brink was allowed to take a trip outside of All You Need Is Love and VriendenLoterij Miljonairs in the twilight of his TV career. However, his new TV show Opvoeding Doe Je Zo scored so dramatically that RTL 4 decided to shorten the series by one episode.
Criticism of Robert
According to critics such as Angela de Jong and Tina Nijkamp, the format of Opvoeding Doe Je Zo was extremely bad. Özcan Akyol even wondered why RTL did this to him. “Does his landlord have to do that?”
The question soon arose as to whether Robert, in the final phase of his TV career, should still make trips outside of his TV classics. More than 90 percent of the poll voters on this site think not. But what does former presenter Viola Holt actually think?
“Stick to your reading!”
Viola, who presented The 5 Hour Show for years and is now active as a Reiki master and coronawappie, believes that Robert should stick to his last. ‘After the flop This is how you educate: should Robert ten Brink only be Dr. Stay in love?’, weekly magazine Story asks her as part of a panel of prominent figures.
Viola answers that question succinctly: “Yes. That seems sensible to me. Let him stay away from that pedantic.”
What does Marga think?
Marga Scheide, former singer of Luv’, joins Viola. “Yes. Keep doing what you’re good at. Especially if the audience ignores you in other programs.”
And artist Ans Markus also joins the critics. “Yes. He is Dr. Love and has his hands full with that. Otherwise you get such a fragmentation: a little bit of everything. Rather not.”
