Robert Helenius is about to face Deontay Wilder in New York on October 15 in a heavyweight bout. Told about it Boxing Scene website.

The match would be played at the home arena of the NBA club Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center and is expected to be the headliner of the event.

Helenius, 38, has not fought yet this year. In his only match last year, he was knocked out by Adam Kownacki in Las Vegas in October. In his 34 matches in his professional career, Helenius has suffered only 3 losses.

The 36-year-old Wilder has lost his last two fights, both of which came in knockouts Tyson Fury against. The latest of these came in the same event as Helenius’ victory over Kownacki.

Wilder considered quitting after the loss, but is getting back into the ring. The American “The Bronze Bomber” held the WBC championship belt from 2015 until 2020.
