After an interview in Los Angeles with comedian Theo Von on one of his podcast episodes, British pop star Robbie Williams revealed, being threatened by an assassin. “I’ve never told anyone about it,” said the singer, songwriter and entertainer.
The dark side of fame and success
The world star already recognized in his native England that success and fame also have their downsides. Combined with the fear that the contract killer would get serious, Williams only felt a sense of security again after moving to the USA. However, the world star continues to feel social fears.
Williams also reports fear of failure, which would affect his social interaction with strangers. For a long time he tried to compensate for these fears with drugs – now he has been clean for over ten years.
Former Take That member Williams has released eleven albums in his solo career. This year he wants to give the biggest concert of his career in Munich.
