Robbie Williams plays twice in Royal Albert Hall for film shooting | show

According to a press release, Williams plans to perform some of his big hits and a few swing classics. The shows are being filmed as part of a biopic currently being shot about the singer.

The shows in London serve in that film as material about the concerts Robbie gave in 2001 at the Royal Albert Hall. Because there was also a dress code for those shows, it has now been removed from the stable: a black tie is mandatory. The original footage from the beginning of this century has already been filmed; the concert film Live at the Albert.

The biopic goes by the way better man to be named. Filming has already been made in Melbourne before. Michael Gracey, known for the successful film The Greatest Showman about the entertainer PT Barnum, is the director.
