Robbie Williams concert guests angry at organizers

Another gigantomania concert was held at the Munich exhibition center: after around 130,000 people traveled to the Bavarian capital last weekend for Helene Fischer’s biggest performance of her career, this Saturday (August 27) Robbie Williams appeared in front of around 90,000 visitors *Inside.

Instead of three bridges there was only one

Both shows were implemented by the same concert organizer “Leutgeb” – and drew angry fans: According to the Munich “evening newspaper” fans took offense at a change in the stage plan this time. Among other things, three footbridges were originally announced on which Robbie Williams could have walked up and down. Guests were ultimately disappointed when there was only a single footbridge for the musician – despite being promised a 360-degree stage experience.

Categories later changed

A Twitter user paid 200 euros for a so-called platinum ticket on the front line. But then the front block was divided into two areas. She herself had to stand behind the first fence.

Another concert visitor reported “t-online” about a subsequent change in the ticket category: She herself had also bought tickets for the platinum category directly in front of the stage, but on site she was only allowed access to the adjacent gold area.

Organizer withdraws accreditation from critical press

The organizer replies that the plan that can be seen in advance was just a “sample site plan” that was “exclusively for orientation”. Many competitors would do without those “overview plans” in advance. A letter goes on to say: “We think it’s a pity that such scaremongering is being carried out out of a well-intentioned service and we can’t quite understand it either!”

Something else does not shed a good light on “Leutgeb Entertainment”: After “Bild”, “Münchner Merkur” and “tz” reported critically about the organization of the Helene Fischer concert, they were briefly granted accreditation for the Robbie Williams show withdrawn. In this respect, too, the organizers show a short fuse – from the “BR” they are quoted as saying: “We are fully aware that events with more than 100,000 visitors do not always go smoothly and that you will find the hair in the soup if you look for it! What we do have a problem with, though, is untruths and scaremongering.”
