The branch of liquor store Gall&Gall on the Vismarkt in Groningen was robbed on Saturday evening by an unknown man.
The man entered the store around 9 a.m. and threatened staff. It is unknown if he used a weapon. He then fled with a small amount of loot, police said.
A Burgernet action yielded nothing. There is no trace of the perpetrator.
Eyewitnesses report that a number of employees and a few customers were present in the store at the time of the robbery. No one was injured.
The store closed early due to the police investigation.
