A branch of Albert Heijn on the Dorpsstraat in Zwaag was raided tonight. A supermarket employee was threatened by the robber, who managed to escape.
A police spokesperson tells NH that the report of the robbery came in around 7:30 p.m. “During the robbery, an employee was threatened, but was not injured.”
The robber fled and police are still looking for him. Whether anything was stolen and what exactly happened is still unclear. “The investigation is still ongoing,” said the spokesperson.
On Burgernet, the police have distributed the description of the suspected perpetrator of the robbery. It would be a light-skinned man of about 1.75 meters with dreadlocks. He wears sunglasses, black pants and a black and gray sweater. It is advised not to approach the man yourself, but to contact the police via emergency number 112.
