A man (33) was injured with a machete during a robbery at Leopoldplatz (Wedding) on ​​Tuesday morning.

Around 8 a.m., two unknown people are said to have asked him to hand over his valuables. When the man refused, one of the two is said to have attacked him with a machete. The duo is then said to have fled in an unknown direction, apparently without any loot.

The 33-year-old suffered a cut on his arm as a result of the machete blow. Alerted emergency services treated her on site and then took him to a hospital for inpatient treatment.
