The NYPD released images of the robbery on Sunday. The video shows a masked man pointing his weapon at employees behind the counter of the fast food restaurant. He eventually got about a hundred dollars and during the robbery first punched a customer and a female manager.
Kristal Bayron Nieves had only been working at the fast food restaurant in Manhattan for a few weeks.
He then opened fire on the 19-year-old Kristal Bayron Nieves. She was hit in the torso and died of her injuries. According to her mother, she had only been working at Burger King in Manhattan for three weeks.
The man ran away after his act and is still missing.
