Attack on a senior (85) in Rudow! A 14-year-old is said to have helped her first and then rob her handbag. Passers-by took up the pursuit – caught!
According to the police, the attack took place on Saturday around 11.40 a.m. on Eichenauer Weg. There, the teenager is said to have initially helped the woman to push her walker onto the sidewalk.
Then he is said to have torn the woman’s handbag and pushed her, causing the elderly woman to fall. The old lady continued to hold her bag. The 14-year-old is said to have kicked the woman lying on the ground several times in the upper body! Until she let go of the bag. Then the teenager fled.
A witness (39) who had observed the crime immediately took up the pursuit and drew other people’s attention to the situation. Together, the passers-by succeeded in arresting the youth and handing him over to the police.
The 85-year-old was taken to hospital by rescue workers from the fire brigade with suspected fractured pelvis. The arrested person was treated by the identification service and then handed over to a relative. Further investigations continue.
