‘Rob Kemps also had an outburst of anger in the summer’

The unmasking of Rob Kemps just keeps on going. According to RTL Boulevard star Luuk Ikink, the outbursts of anger that the presenter experienced this week are not isolated.

Until this week, Rob Kemps was known as a sympathetic and cheerful presenter, but that all turns out to be a kind of act. Behind the scenes, he behaves like an angry bully. For example, he exploded with anger on Monday when he heard that René van der Gijp wanted to make fun of him in the evening in Today Inside.

The consequence? Rob moved heaven and earth to ensure that VI does not have any images from his Chansons! was allowed to broadcast. RTL Boulevard then made an article about that and Rob was also furious about it. He immediately called the editors of the show section and started shouting in exasperation that it is a ‘k*t program’.

People who don’t know Rob in real life are completely in shock. What the hell is wrong with this man? Is he having a bad week? No, that’s just how he is, reveals RTL Boulevard star Luuk Ikink in The BLVD Podcast.

Angry at baby question

According to Luuk, it is not the first time that Boulevard has to deal with an angry Rob. “We all know Rob as a pleasant man. We thought at RTL Boulevard: we recognize ourselves very much in this story [van Vandaag Inside]because we have also had an angry Rob Kemps on the phone, or at least on the microphone.”

Luke is talking about last summer. “That had to do with a question we asked. A reporter of ours asked a question about his baby that had just been born. That was at his own festival Total Loss. We just asked how things were at home and if things were going well.”

‘A little crazy’

Rob then went completely crazy. “Then he got very angry about that, because then everything had to stay separate and things like that. We thought that was a bit crazy. Our editor-in-chief was on the phone with him for a long time. He was also a bit angry,” said Luuk.

Very inconvenient, thinks TV connoisseur Rob Goossens. “If you get a question about your newborn daughter, you can also say, ‘It’s going really well. I just sleep a little bit.’ Then it’s okay too. In this way, he becomes less likable. He’s a bit disappointing now.”
