Rob Goossens receives texts from Gordon at night: ‘I was screwed’

Rob Goossens received a number of texts from Gordon after his ugly psychiatrist sneer. “He has a knack for texting at night in situations like this.”

It is inevitable that Gordon is very disappointed with the reactions to his comeback interview. With some crazy outfits and a big tear left and right, he hoped to win over the TV viewer again. But apparently he forgot that people don’t really like it when you try to spite your ex by revealing the suicide of his brother.

Razor sharp criticism

Rob Goossens strongly criticized it on Tuesday evening in RTL Boulevard. He thinks that RTL as a potential employer has been completely put off by the interview with Gordon. “I think that RTL and Gerard Joling (…) both thought: until Gordon has been declared completely cured by a psychiatrist, we are not going to work with him for a while.”

It looks like Rob got a sharpening steel for Christmas, because his tongue hasn’t been this sharp in a while. We hardly hear this kind of harsh criticism of a well-known Dutchman on national television these days, and it seems that Gordon is quite shocked by it.

Apps from Gordon

Gordon sent Rob a number of texts at night, the TV expert reveals BLVD Podcast. “You have received some messages from Gordon, understand?” Bridget Maasland asks.

He then says: “Yes and no. Yes, Gordon has a habit of texting at night in situations like this, so I was screwed. Only I have no idea what he sent, because I woke up and received two messages at 6:30 am that he had already deleted. So then it says: ‘Deleted message, deleted message.’”

Ah, so Gordon’s messages are just as fleeting as his TV comeback. Interesting.

Wishful thinking

Why were Gordon’s apps deleted? Did he insult Rob and did he regret it? Rob cynically: “I think he first wanted to say that he disagreed with my analysis. But then he thought: well Rob, you actually have a point, and that’s why he took it away.”

Colleague Bridget Maasland: “I think so wishful thinking what you’re doing now, but fine. If you think that and it calms you down. Hahaha.”

‘Very positive’

Eric de Munck also thinks that this is not a very credible scenario. “It is very nice to enter 2024 with these thoughts.”

Bridget: “Hahaha. Very positive.”

If Rob keeps this up, he’ll soon have a new morning routine: decrypting Gordon’s deleted messages.
