A euphoric evening for the futsal players of RKAV Volendam. BE’79 was defeated by a goal in the last second. Robin Kwakman scored both goals: 2-1.
After the hard defeat (1-9) against FC Eindhoven, RKAV Volendam was eager for a result. The Volendam team had the better chances in the first half, although the visitors shot the bar twice. It was Robin Kwakman, who made 1-0 after Nick Schilder’s good perseverance. That was also the halftime score against BE’79.
After the break, the opponent from Berkel-Enschot equalized. In the second half it was mainly for Volendam to stop. For a long time it seemed to remain 1-1. In the end, BE’79 tried to force something with the keeper playing along. Kwakman took advantage of that and scored his second in the final second.
