Ritter-Lang is the new Turbine President

The troubled traditional women’s football club Turbine Potsdam has a new president.

Karsten Ritter-Lang (60), the only candidate in the election, received 94 of the 98 votes cast at the general meeting on Friday evening, according to RBB. Predecessor Rolf Kutzmutz had given up his post in the summer. On December 8, the executive board and the assessors are to be elected.

In terms of sport, the former top club is struggling hard. After seven match days, the Brandenburg women are at the bottom of the Bundesliga with just one point. At the end of October, the club parted ways with coach Sebastian Middeke, and the position has not yet been filled.
