Aki and Rita Manninen had put their luxury apartment up for sale in June.
An entrepreneurial couple known from TV Aki and Rita Manninen have decided to take their house in Lempäälä out of the sale. The apartment was on sale for about five months.
Rita was the first to inform the couple Instagramin the publication.
– Let’s see what happens in the future. We do have a good time in both homes, Rita writes in her post.
– Besides, what if we saved this To Donna as a student in the future? he mused, referring to their child together.
Iltalehti caught up with Manniset, who say that they reached their solution due to the current housing market situation.
– Let’s look again when the season improves. We will then put it up for sale again, Aki says in an interview.
– Didn’t feel like going to that tender auction. It (the apartment) was already on sale too cheaply, Rita continues.
The original selling price of the apartment was 895,000 euros, but in October it dropped to 795,000 euros. Manniset have previously told Iltalehti that they ended up with a drastic price drop due to the general economic situation.
However, the Mannites are not disappointed that their lukaal did not sell. They still plan to visit their second home in Lempäälä every week.
– This is not such a situation that it would be a shame to keep this apartment, Rita emphasizes.

The couple had put their apartment up for sale because they were going to build a new house on the island they own in Pori, where they mostly live today. However, the Mannies have not given up on their dream relationship despite the setbacks.
– It has to be put on hold now that the market situation is bad and the house didn’t sell. Dreams are drawn and dreams are transferred. Things don’t always go as you would like and sometimes you just have to stretch the schedule, Aki states.
– Yes, we still have time to do everything, there is nothing wrong with this, and the situation is not unpleasant. Let’s see what the future brings – things can move forward quickly, Rita adds hopefully.
So the two will keep both their apartments for the time being. They even continue to joke about how the second home could become Donna’s student apartment in a few years.
According to the couple, they have no problem maintaining two houses.
– There aren’t terribly many maintenance costs here. In our island apartment, they are quite human, and our home in Lempäälä is an energy-efficient apartment. Energy costs are not staggering. That’s how I haven’t calculated what the Lempäälä house costs. But there is hardly any electricity or water, since we only go there every week, Aki calculates.
– Then you just have to juggle things a bit and go with the fact that there are enough grains, he reflects at the end.
