Ristomatti Hakola into politics – Jumped on Alexander Stubb’s bandwagon

Cross mat Hakola jumped in by Alexander Stubb for the presidential election wagons. The skier gave his name and face to the campaign of the candidate of the coalition.

– Stubb asked personally, Hakola says.

– When it’s been difficult for myself, Stubb has been one of the only ones who has cheered and sent a message to see what’s going on. He has been an important support, Hakola adds.

The skier uses the term “friend” for Stubbs.

Hakola says that he closely follows politics.

– Stubb is a strong expert in international politics, a warm person and capable. But there are many good candidates, so may the best win.

The man from Jämin Jänte broke his rib in the Ruka World Cup in November 2021, when he fell violently on the slope of Impilinna.

On Sunday, the skier returned to the accident site for the first time in a competitive situation on traditional skis.

– Every bill scared me. Twice I came down from there like a magpie, Hakola said.

Impilinna’s bill was adjusted for the 2022–23 season. Hakolan Turma was one of the initiators of the changes.

– That rib is still quite upright there. I noticed on Sunday that it was scary when it crashed and hurt so much two years ago. Now that bill is easier. If you leave the glove now, it’s your own fault.
