Incident at a Rammstein gig in Groningen, The Netherlands: An apparently brave supporter of the band (it’s unclear if it was a man or a woman) climbed a light pole during the gig in the Stadspark last week to get a better view to be on top of what is happening.
A daring action, as pictures show, which is now the Dutch “VKMag” published, because the fan was unsecured on the road, could have either fallen deep or even been injured by one of the flames during Rammstein’s pyro actions.
However, eyewitnesses reported that the dangerous action happened while the musicians paused. Dutch website Sikkom has another fan who watched how the “loonie” got there.
He climbed over the bars to get to the mast, “a pretty long way”. He would have made it to the top and also to the bottom on his own. “When he got there, six security guards were already waiting for him, who overpowered him after an unsuccessful attempt to escape.”
