Eintracht Braunschweig has made the immediate return to the second Bundesliga. Lower Saxony benefited from the surprising 2-0 defeat of 1. FC Kaiserslautern at Viktoria Köln on Sunday and followed Magdeburg into the lower house of football.
Lower Saxony, who missed the first match point the day before with a 2:3 defeat at SV Meppen, are one point ahead of the “Red Devils” in the table and can no longer be pushed out of second place.
