Riots broke out in the Irish capital Dublin on Thursday evening in the area where a stabbing incident took place earlier in the day in which three children and a woman were injured. Hundreds of demonstrators pelted the police with bottles, torches and fireworks. They also chanted anti-migrant slogans and set fire to a police car, bus and tram. Hotels in the district were also attacked. Calm has largely returned around 10 p.m. local time (11 p.m. in Belgium), reports the British public broadcaster ‘BBC’.
