In the past 35 years, Rino&Pelle has gone through many changes and developments. The brand managed to achieve 8% growth in 2021 despite the pandemic. The brand owes this growth to good resale by its retail customers. According to a report by Uretco in late 2021, the label achieved 82% resale in women’s fashion last season. Meeting delivery times has been a major challenge due to the pandemic, which the brand is still struggling with due to new changes. Nevertheless, Rino&Pelle succeeded last season. Realizing earlier delivery to customers has resulted in longer selling time in store. A flexible working attitude and a solution-oriented way of thinking have ensured mutual trust between the label and customers. Because of the high resale numbers, buyers see Rino&Pelle as a safe investment in uncertain times.
In addition to sales growth, Rino&Pelle was also able to expand its sales market. Last year around 500 new international sales outlets were added, 165 of them in Italy. Through the cooperation with a new agency in Italy, Rino&Pelle was able to make this big leap. Not only is the Italian market growing rapidly, sales in Germany are also increasing steadily. The first steps overseas were also made with America and Canada. At the beginning of February this year, Rino&Pelle took part in the Coterie in New York, a successful trade fair for Rino&Pelle.
The brand is progressive and continues to push the boundaries. The label expects growth of 30% in 2022.

The first steps towards a better world have been taken. Rino&Pelle wants to make the company more sustainable in all areas. This includes recycled packaging material, sustainable raw materials and a partially self-sufficient headquarters.
The Rino&Pelle team is aware of the impact that the fashion industry has on our environment. Therefore, the label strives for environmentally friendly alternatives. Rino&Pelle presents its first “Eco Friendly Pieces” this SS22 season. These are products made from more sustainable materials or products that are manufactured in a more sustainable way. For example, part of the collection consists of EcoVero viscose and recycled polyester is used. The materials for the winter season are also produced in a sustainable way. The filling of the quilted jackets is 100% down-free and last but not least: “No animals occur in our happy fur”, ie all faux fur items from Rino&Pelle are 100% animal-free.
Zero waste
Rino&Pelle attaches great importance to ensuring that all garments end up in the right place. For example, the brand uses a made-to-order policy to avoid overproduction. This means that we only produce to order. The brand doesn’t have its own stores, so it doesn’t need to build up large inventories. Rino&Pelle sells exclusively through retail customers and its own web shop. Products that remain at the end are sold as part of a Sampe Sale. The brand also has an in-house workshop, so garments can be repaired on site. This way, no Rino&Pelle garment is thrown away.
Rino&Pelle strives to create high quality, timeless designs that can be worn for years and not thrown away after one season. By developing wardrobe favorites that can be endlessly combined, the brand creates a functional wardrobe for women.
Rino&Pelle is far from where the brand wants to be in terms of sustainability and conscious choices, but the small international company is trying to contribute step by step to a better future. The team is aware that they still have a long way to go and are constantly looking for new ideas and ways to reduce the negative impact on our planet.
