Rink hockey, Trissino hits the brace: after the Euroleague comes the Scudetto

Trissino is the 99th winner of the rink hockey championship. The series on the defending champions of Lodi ended 3-0. It is the second time in history for the club after the title won in 1978. It is the second team to sign the Scudetto-Euroleague double after Follonica.

Alessandro Bertolucci’s team immediately imposed an unsustainable pace in Lodi from the first minute. The first goal is signed by Giulio Cocco with a strong shot that bags under the furthest intersection. But it is in the ninth minute that Trissino signs his third victory: from 1 to 0 to 4 to 0 in 87 seconds with goals from Gavioli Malagoli and Pinto. Before the interval Roger Bars signs the 5-0 on the counterattack resulting from an opponent’s defensive error. In the second half the 6-0 is achieved by Roger Bars, assisted by Cocco in speed. Lodi achieves the first goal with the young Antonioni in a quick action for the partial 6-1 but now the comeback is impossible and the match ends at 7-2. Valdagno instead raised the women’s Scudetto. Victory for 4-3 in the final against the Roller Matera.
