“I want to go on tour,” Rihanna shares, but she has to release new music to do that.
In recent years, Rihanna has been working on fashion and makeup projects rather than new music. Now, however, the artist hinted at the “Fenty x Puma Creeper Phatty” party that a new album might follow after a seven-year break. Just as she could imagine a tour for 2024.

Rihanna and puma have released a joint fashion collection. The sportswear brand held a launch event at which the 35-year-old also talked about her music plans. The R&B singer revealed that she would like to go on tour again, although the musician admitted that this would require new music. Afterwards, Rihanna hinted that she and her team already knew what her fresh songs would sound like, sparking a lot of speculation as to whether a new album might already be in the starting blocks.
Specifically, she said: “We will always go on tour. I want to go on tour again when there is new music. We already know what that is [für Musik] will be. It’s been a long time since my last tour, I think it’s only fair that my fans get what they’ve been waiting for – new music. And after that, let’s just blow everything up.”
According to media reports, Rihanna has already entered into a 36 million euro comeback deal with Live Nation, which means new music and a tour in the near future are not that unlikely.
Rihanna most recently released her record ANTI in 2016. Since then, she has been featured on songs by other artists and also contributed tracks to “Black Panther”. She also took over the Superbowl halftime show in 2023, which she also used to make her second pregnancy official.
