The party of outgoing Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro is the largest party in the new parliament. His Liberal Party (PL) won 99 seats. The bloc of right-wing parties around Bolsonaro thus has a majority of 60 percent in the Chamber of Representatives. Moody’s rating agency says the second round of the presidential election will be a dime on its side.
