Right Said Fred share a live stream of a well-known neo-Nazi

Right Said Fred has repeatedly spoken out publicly against vaccination in their native UK and on social media. On Telegram they have their own group with around 5,600 followers – there it says in the profile: “two musicians with opinions that do not fit into the narrative of the mainstream media”. In this way they post links, pictures and videos, some of them without comment. This also recently included a redirect to a webcast by a neo-Nazi who was spreading conspiracy theories and misinformation about corona and vaccinations.

Right Said Fred: Spokesman for the duo speaks of a mistake

Allegedly, the link was accidentally shared: “The guys share information that they feel is not covered by mainstream media, this is a rare instance where the band got it wrong,” their rep said when asked .

Mark Collett is a well-known British neo-Nazi and leader of the group Patriotic Alternative who, according to Consequence of Sound, is said to have spoken positively about Hitler and denied the Holocaust in the past. In his webcast, he spoke to No White Guilt blogger Jason Köhne and prominent neo-Nazi David Duke, who was once the leader of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan.

Neo-Nazi is happy about the support of the artists

Noting the additional views from the musicians’ followers, Collett said: “I never thought Right Said Fred would ever share any of my content, but these are interesting times! It’s interesting to see that so many mainstream celebrities and musicians end up on Telegram because of social media censorship,” the neo-Nazi told NME.

In September and December, Richard and Fred Fairbrass from Right Said Fred took part in an anti-corona rally in London. Despite their own experiences with COVID-19, the duo believes they are on the right track: Richard Fairbrass was hospitalized with Corona in August 2021. Nevertheless, the musician considers vaccinations against the virus to be a fraud on humanity and therefore rejects them.
