Kickboxer Rico Verhoeven has something to look forward to, to prepare. On June 14, De Gigant from Halsteren defends his world title during the Glory 100 event. The organization behind the kickboxing fights announced this on Wednesday.
Where this will happen, Glory does not report yet. The opponent of the world champion in the heavyweights is also not yet known.
Verhoeven (35) came into action for the last time in December. Then he successfully defended his world title against countryman Levi Rigters for the twelfth time in a row. This series has been holding on for eleven years.
After the win on Rigters, Verhoeven said: “What Glory comes with, I see automatically. I am not busy with the next challenger, I will be ready.”
