Yvonne Brandsteder’s claim that her son Rick Brandsteder is in rehab because he “occasionally drinks too much” is not true. That is what gossip queen Yvonne Coldeweijer says.
It is Yvonne Coldeweijer who released extremely embarrassing videos in the summer in which Rick Brandsteder shows public drunkenness. It could just be that this was some kind of wake-up call to tackle his drinking hobby. He is now in rehab in South Africa.
Rick in Africa
According to Rick’s mother Yvonne, he is there because he ‘occasionally drinks a bit too much’, but Juice-Yvonne calls that nonsense. She says in the podcast The Juice Show that there is more to it. “Rick is in South Africa, so it’s not just for booze. Do you hear what I say? It’s not just for booze.”
Also for drugs? “Yes, dude, yes,” says Yvonne, who points to the sky-high costs of South Africa’s posh rehab clinics. “Do you know how expensive that is? You really don’t go there because you drink a little too much.”
Cocaine
Detoxification in South Africa is not intended for overzealous Gall & Gall customers, Yvonne thinks. “That South Africa is where you go if you’re just addicted to coke or something. GHB or something. I don’t know GHB, I know coke with him.”
Hey? Was Rick on coke? “Yes, I’ve heard that from a spy that he uses a lot of coke. Well, hopefully not any time soon. Congratulations! So apparently he’s doing great there in that clinic. He said that to his mother. We wish him the very best.”
