The monthly amounts disbursed by INPS should arrive from 20 to 30 July, a period within which the increased amounts should already be calculated and the new requests to obtain the contribution sent in June should also be accepted.
Unico check richer in July
Like every year, INPS has recalculated the “family income levels for the purpose of paying the family unit allowance” compared to the change in the consumer price index calculated by Istat «for the families of workers and employees» with a result that is equal to +8.1% between the year 2022 and the year 2021. The social security institution has therefore published on its website the tables with the new inflation-adjusted income levels and the corresponding checksincluding the sums relating to allowances for the various types of households, in which there are no children.

The increases have already been made
As required by current regulations, there is already a surcharge of 30 euros for each child for households with an ISEE equal to or less than 15,000 euros, which is progressively scaled as the ISEE level rises until it is zeroed when the indicator reaches 40,000 euros.
Furthermore, the amount of the subsidy was increased in the Budget law as early as January, another 50% for dependent children under the age of onefor families with at least four dependent children and for families with at least three children, for each child from one to three years, provided that the family has an ISEE under 40,000 euros.
Only for disabled adults
As required by the circular, if any families made up of adults other than children, the increases start from the minimum income of 31,569 euros. The planned increases are proportional to the increase in family members and inversely proportional to the increase in income: in fact, the highest bracket, between 66,000 and 70,000 euros, sees the increase only if 7 members are present.
Unique allowance, if there are no children
If the two spouses are childless and have an incapacitated relative, the income brackets are lower: the minimum is in fact just over 28,000 euros. For higher incomes, in the range between 59 and 66 thousand euros, the increases are triggered only if there are very large families, which have 6/7 members.
If there are no disabled
Smaller increases if there are families without disabled relatives: the increases start from 15 thousand euros going over 100 only in the case of large households, over 5 members, and low incomes. The same goes for single-parent families, who see increases starting from 17,000 euros.
If the spouse is incapacitated
In the circumstance, however, that the spouse is incapacitated, the increases start again starting from a higher range, just over 28 thousand euros. The mechanism is always the same, therefore households with higher incomes, over 59,000 euros, will only see increases if they are numerous, i.e. with 6 or more members.
How to understand the payment status
To view the payment status of the Single Allowance and any delays, the recipient must connect to the portal of the social security institution and at that point must search in the “Citizen’s social security file“. Then click on “Performance” and then on “Payments” looking for the reference year.
