The boom in luxury goods continues: Richemont once again experienced double-digit growth in the first quarter of 2023/24 (as of June 30). The jewelry business was once again very strong.

In the period from April to June, group sales rose by 14 percent to 5.32 billion euros, as the manufacturer of luxury watches from brands such as Piaget and IWC and expensive jewelry from Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels announced on Monday. Calculated in local currencies, the increase was 19 percent.

With this, Richemont slightly missed the AWP analyst expectations. As usual, Richemont did not provide a concrete outlook for the further course of the 2023/24 financial year. (dpa)
