GUPPYFRIEND laundry bags protect both textiles and the environment. Scientific tests have shown that by washing in a bag, garments made of synthetic fabrics and material blends with synthetic components lose 86 percent fewer fibres, so that the quality is retained for a long time. Clothing made from natural fibers can also be gently washed in it.
The few fibers that inevitably break off are caught in the washing bag – so that the microplastic particles don’t get into the sewage system, don’t pollute the seas, aren’t ingested by marine animals and don’t end up on our plates.
