The president of the Higher Sports Council clarifies that he did not ask for Laporta’s resignation and that he will meet with him in the coming days

The president of the Higher Sports Council (CSD), Víctor Francos, has reviewed the current situation of Spanish football, the RFEF, Barça, sociological Madridismo and the ‘Negreira case’ in an interview given to ‘El Larguero’ of the ‘ Chain Ser’.

“There must be the changes that the Spanish national team players have proposed. There are changes to be made, we have committed to them to send us amendments to be able to incorporate it into the new Sports Law,” Francos expressed about the changes to the RFEF.

The president of the CSD has explained that he has met with candidates from outside the Federation who want to become president. “More people have come from outside than from inside”he clarified in the aforementioned interview.

In this sense, and according to Francos’ own words, “we calculate that, if all the deadlines are the ones we manage, it is that the president of the RFEF is elected between February 15 and the end of March; It would seem like a mistake to delay it.”

Sociological Madridismo, the ‘Negreira case’ and Real Madrid TV

The interviewee has also been asked about the extra-sports news surrounding FC Barcelona in recent days. Víctor Francos wanted to clarify his words in an interview with the ‘Voz de Galicia’.

“I wanted to say that in these cases it is very complicated for people not to demand responsibility. On the fifth question, I answered that. I did not ask for anyone’s resignation. I have an excellent relationship with Laporta, I appreciate him very much and my intention is to see him in the coming days“.

As regards the term coined by the Blaugrana president of “sociological Madridism”, added to the reports pointing out several referees broadcast by Real Madrid TV, has demanded that “tempers be calmed”.

“Barça is a very loved team in Spain. Sociologically, they are breaking molds and male fanism with their female team. Spanish football would not be the same without Barça, there is more respect for Barcelona than we imagine,” Francos explained. However, he has also been very blunt: “The payments to Negreira are unacceptable and that is indisputable.”
