Then vocalist/bassist/band boss Fat Mike announces the imminent (stage) end of the band in time for their 40th anniversary in 2023, but not before releasing the complementary DOUBLE ALBUM. Confused? Rightly so. But mixed signals coupled with insanity have always had a method for the Cali punk institution – and the latter remains the perfect sparring partner for their insane punk rock.

The fifteenth full-length player, whose material comes largely from new recordings of songs from the “7” Of The Month Club 2019″ fan subscription single series, also lives on the fifteenth long-player, which is musically more elaborate and varied, with lively harmonies and humorously biting lyrics. Be it withdrawal grotesques, absurd personal “Spaceship Enterprise” analogies, a bitter Stephen Hawking corruption or the ode to the uncompromising punk concert promoter legend David Pollack: Almost everyone gets his fat from Mike – himself of course too . Punk rock perfection. Which is such a mixed signal again.
