Live from the Alabama” groups performed in Munich, whose music washed away the gray veil that Peter Hein sang about and which the mothers could not wash away.
The bands had names like Die Conditors or United Balls and were simultaneously silly and pumped up with longing – postpunk made in Germany, co-marketed as NDW. Ron Huefnagels and Tom Sinke call themselves Iedereen (Dutch for “all”) and would have cut a good figure back then.

The song “Niki is harmless fun, only a “c” is missing as a homage to the “Bavarian Cowgirl”. “White Noise” is significantly more punk, significantly more desperation, and Jens Rachut also takes notice. Pieces like “Urinella” or “Tatütata” bring the two poles together in the most miraculous way, something that only the Boxhamsters used to be able to do so well.
