Review: Ferrari has breathtaking racing scenes, but the drama is as flat as a flat tire

As fast as his cars zoom down the road, the film about Enzo Ferrari’s life is just as slow. Adam Driver as the car magnate (1898-1988) and especially Penélope Cruz as his wife Laura are excellent and the racing scenes ensure an increased heart rate, but as a compelling drama Ferrari (in cinemas on Thursday) only scores a passing grade.
