Reuters showed satellite troops in Belarus near the border with Ukraine

The transfer of military equipment to Belarus was previously reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense. Attack aircraft and air defense systems are planned to be used in the exercises, the start of which is scheduled for February 10

Agency Reuters published taken satellite images of military equipment in Belarus, located near the Ukrainian border. The images were provided to the agency by Maxar Technologies.

The photos were taken on February 4 near the city of Yelsk (less than 20 km from the border with Ukraine), Rechitsa (55 km from the border) and Luninets (50 km). Maxar Technologies was able to identify 15 Su-25 attack aircraft and S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems at the Luninets airfield in the images. Near Yelsk, photographs showed the presence of Iskander missile systems and multiple launch rocket systems.

Reuters emphasizes that the journalists could not verify the authenticity of the photographs. RBC sent a request to the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
