To do this, Washington may expand the list of goods for which US suppliers must obtain a license to export to Russia. The American authorities will issue these licenses only in exceptional cases, the agency explains.

The number of such users themselves will also be increased – companies that cooperate with the Russian armed forces and which are prohibited from purchasing certain goods and technologies from the United States.

President Joe Biden has already signed a decree on sanctions against the DNR and LNR. The document prohibits US citizens from trading with them, investing in their economies, exporting American-made goods there, and importing goods from the republics into the United States.
