Liam Neeson is back in Berlin. After his worldwide success “Unknown Identity” from 2008, in his new film “Retribution” he not only returns to his favorite US thriller genre, but also to the German capital. The film will be available to stream digitally from January 18th and will also be available on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K UHD from February 1st. A trip through Berlin and secrets worth millions
In “Retribution,” Neeson appears in front of the camera as investment banker Matt, who is sitting in the car with his children when a stranger on the phone claims to have a bomb in the car. The caller threatens that if anyone gets out, everyone will die. As Matt drives through Berlin with his children, the situation escalates and it becomes clear that there are millions and one dirty secret at stake. In addition to Neeson, Jack Champion and Lilly Aspell as well as Embeth Davidtz and Matthew Modine can also be seen. The film is directed by Nimród Antal and executive produced by Jaume Collet-Serra, who has worked with Neeson on other projects.
