Restoration works on Iron Tower started
The facades of the tower will be cleaned, de-moisturized, repaired and water-repellent treated, the covering stones on the terraces will be repaired or replaced. The lower flat roofs will receive a new sealing layer and the entire outdoor terrace on the first floor will be resealed. Not only the facades and terraces are being restored, the exterior joinery in aluminum and wood is also checked and repaired or replaced. The site, the tower and the museum will remain open and accessible to the public during the entire renovation period.
The contractor has 180 working days to carry out the restoration and the file must be completed by September 2025 at the latest.
