There IX edition of the national event “Restaurants against Hunger”, the largest restaurant solidarity campaign in Italy, promoted by Action against Hunger, kicks off in conjunction with World Food Day. The new edition of Restaurants Against Hunger is enriched with new celebrities Chef Ambassadors: Gennaro EspositoChef of the Torre del Saracino Restaurant, Ernst KnamChef and Maître Chocolatier of the pastry shop of the same name, Roberto ValbuzziChef of the Crotto Valtellina Restaurant e Filippo La Mantia, Chef of the Filippo la Mantia Restaurant, Host and Cook. The SuperSolidarity Dinners on Monday 16 October 2023
Launch event, tonight, October 16, a series of “SuperSolidarity dinners” scheduled throughout Italy and organized by great chefs and restaurateurs.
Two of these special evenings will feature guests the Radio Deejay talents: Innocenti Evasioni (Tommaso Arrigoni, Milan) will see the extraordinary participation of Matteo Curti, Diego Passoni, Vic and Marisa Passera.
The Tino1 Michelin Star (Lele Usai, Rome Fiumicino) will have Danilo from Fiumicino as guest.

Where do the funds raised by Restaurants Against Hunger go?
2022 was a year of great achievements for Action Against Hunger. The goal achieved of 100,000 euros raised has made it possible to support important projects to combat hunger and malnutrition, projects that will also be the subject of the association’s work in the new edition.
Between these, Never hungry again: from emergency to autonomy for employment support e against food poverty in Italy, where over 5 million people live in absolute poverty (1 person in 10), of which 1 million are children. The objective is to expand the number of people reached in Milan and also bring the intervention to Naples.
From Italy to Lebanon
Still in Sahel, where Action Against Hunger supports the implementation of artificial intelligence to combat climate change. In Lebanon, where it works with integrated nutrition interventions, access to water, hygiene and health services, to improve cohesion among the most vulnerable, be they refugees or Lebanese, with an approach aimed at developing lasting solutions. And in the Central African Republicin which a project is underway to prevent and treat malnutrition in mothers and children under 5 years of age.
