The restaurant of the year 2022 is Nolla from Helsinki.

The Finnish Gastronomic Society chose Restaurant of the Year for the 34th time.

Gastronomies justify their choice with Zero’s ingenuity and skill, where the customer is conveyed the cooperation of the entire service chain.

Zero has also been awarded the ELO Foundation’s Flying Saucer 2018 food culture award.

What recognition?

In order to achieve the Restaurant of the Year award, the restaurant must offer good and distinctive food as well as excellent service that makes the customer feel valued.

The restaurant of the year has a good price-quality ratio and its operation is long-lasting, of uniform quality and reliable.

Finland’s oldest food association, the Finnish Gastronomic Society, has awarded the Restaurant of the Year award to deserving restaurants since 1985.

Restaurant Nolla is the 34th recognized restaurant.

In 2021, no individual restaurant of the year was named, because the club wanted to contribute to the support of the entire Finnish restaurant industry in the struggle to survive the corona crisis.

The Society, which nurtures and develops gastronomy and food culture, was founded in 1945 and has about 300 members.
