During the Drenthe Rally, 120 fast cars race over various paths and roads, roughly on the west side of the A28 between Assen and Yde. Residents of the De Hondstongen nature reserve, like nature manager Het Drentse Landschap, are outraged about the rally, because they believe it affects nature and roads in the area.
