The State Secretary for Education, Culture and Science, Dr. G. Uslu, has requested the King to resign her as State Secretary for Education, Culture and Science with effect from December 1, 2023 in connection with the acceptance of another position. The King granted this resignation in the most honorable manner, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, with gratitude for the many and important services rendered by the State Secretary to him and the Kingdom. The King’s Cabinet has announced this.
As long as no provision has been made for the appointment of a new State Secretary for Education, Culture and Science, the Minister of Education, Culture and Science, Dr. RH Dijkgraaf, will take over the duties of the State Secretary. For the remainder of the outgoing period, a new State Secretary will be sought from within the D66 circle.
