Residents of WZC go back in time with oldtimers

Many people with dementia stay in the residential care home, especially for them going back in time is very nice, also for Roger. He is one of the 25 residents of residential care home De Korenbloem in Kortrijk who can take a seat in a classic car this afternoon. And soon he is completely thinking about his own little cart from the past: “I have never had any accidents with it. It bulged easily and smoothly”, it sounds.

“The reactions are very positive. People have come along with tips to tackle the next year even bigger. It certainly leaves you wanting more. On to the next edition”, says Debby Verhelst, housing counselor at residential and care De Korenbloem.
