Residents of Bruges who get rid of their car receive a 500 euro premium

The premium applies to all residents of Bruges who delete their number plate and therefore no longer use their car. The 500 euros is a kind of mobility budget that they can spend on the purchase of a new bicycle or a subscription for public transport. It can also be used for a shared car. The mobility budget aims to encourage residents of Bruges to move more sustainably. The city provides 100,000 euros, which is 200 cars less.
