Nearly seven weeks after the devastating fires on the Hawaiian island of Maui, residents were allowed to return to parts of the coastal town of Lahaina for the first time on Monday. According to authorities, residents will gradually regain access to their properties in the largely burned area. Until now, only rescue workers and other first responders were allowed to enter the area.
