Residential care center imposes a recording stop on itself: ‘Work pressure for staff is too great’

All rooms that become available in the residential care centers of Zorg en Welzijn will not be filled again for the time being. A drastic decision until the end of October due to a staff shortage. The workload for the staff is too great.

Despite the efforts to reduce the workload, the management must now opt for a temporary recording break. During that period, the residential care center will be looking for extra care staff.

“It should be an advantage, both for residents and for our staff. This way there is extra space for current colleagues to offer quality care,” says general director Wodka Algoet.
