Yesterday he started in Harelbeke, at the Dieter De Cauderlier Fund for brain tumors. From there he walked to Villa Rozenrood in De Panne, the only respite home in our country where sick children can go on holiday with their families on the coast. Finally, today, around noon, he and his companion Sven left for the Zorghuis in Ostend. That is a journey of 40 kilometers.
For Swinnen, the project also has a personal side: one of his children was also diagnosed with the disease. Sven is also the father of a cancer patient.
