The Zeegserloopje takes its name from the village of Zeegse. Last winter the stream bottom was gradually raised to a maximum of half a meter. This also happened a year ago in the Anlooërdiepje† Peter Paul Schollema of the Hunze en Aa’s water board and Ralph Verdonschot of Wageningen University are examining whether the effects of the intervention are already visible there.
