The social medium Instagram facilitates pedophile networks, says the Wall Street Journal. The American newspaper researched the networks in which child abuse material is shared and sold with the universities of Stanford and Massachusetts Amherst. Parent company Meta acknowledges that combating such material on Instagram is not sufficiently successful.
