Research by I&O Research shows that three quarters of tourists will continue to come to Amsterdam if the i-criterion, which amounts to a coffee shop ban for tourists, is introduced. In the report City Tourism states that most come to walk, view architecture and go to museums; they also visit a coffee shop.
